My First 90 Days as CEO of AgileThought

And what a journey it’s been.

My first 90 days have included a whirlwind of trips to different locations to meet with our customers, employees, partners, and analysts. It’s been a journey of learning, relationship building, team formation, and strategy creation.

And there is one message that I heard across the board that I thought best represented AgileThought: “Human Potential, Digitally Delivered.”  In every meeting I had, I could see how people embraced this message.

It was refreshing to see the commitment from the associates, the open and honest discussions, the orientation toward innovation, and the enormous desire to solve customer problems.

I am truly amazed at the talent we have within the company.

I was thoroughly impressed with the inventory of frameworks and Intellectual Property (IP) we have built over the last few quarters in the area of AI, Data, Cloud, and Automation. Equally, I was overwhelmed by the support, encouragement, and confidence shown by our customers and partners in our capabilities and performance.

I am truly fortunate to be an associate in this company, leading us to the next stage of growth and value creation for both our clients and ourselves. I am very thankful to our customers for continuing to have trust in us and giving us the business and the opportunity to serve them.

It all started with meeting the customer-facing market units in Tampa, FL, where I learned about the current state of our business and operations. From there, I went to Mexico City and then later to Merida to visit several associates at various levels and functions to get a deep understanding of our culture, operations, and delivery capabilities.

I could see the pride, commitment, technology prowess, and desire to innovate. I was awestruck by the unwavering customer focus and a true desire to solve our customers’ problems. With our solutions and guilds, I immersed myself in understanding the different offerings and value we deliver to our clients every day.

During my trip to Mexico, I also had the opportunity to meet with our numerous customers who continued to reiterate the opportunities in front of us. I also had the opportunity to visit Sao Paolo, Brazil, where I spent time with our associates and customers. I have also spent considerable time going to various cities in the U.S. to visit our clients.

What I took away from these visits is that we need to invest in and build even more frameworks and IP to uniquely position ourselves as the partner of choice in the growing world of AI/Data, Cloud, and Digital Engineering.

Meanwhile, I was also able to build a solid management team that is well-rounded and should be complete in the next 30 days or so. We were able to have a strategy session for two days with our extended team and came up with a transformation plan to position and execute for rapid growth. At the heart of all our discussions and planning was the consensus on how we should continue to focus the company around bringing continuous value growth to our customers.

These 90 days have been super energizing. We have a fantastic culture of innovation and customer focus.

From here on, it’s all about relentless execution as we prove our value to the industry and customers through results.

My people and I are certainly up for the challenge. So here is to digitally delivering our human potential, be it AI, Data, Cloud, IT Modernization, or Digital Transformation.

Let’s push what’s possible.
